- Tribute Tree gifts may be made year-round. Personalized acknowledgements are typically emailed or mailed within a few days.
- Trees are planted during TreesLouisville's planting season (October through April), when conditions give young trees the best chance to thrive.
- Trees are planted where they are needed most. Planting locations, species, and timing are determined by our team based on community need, site suitability, and long-term success.
- Every tree receives ongoing care. Your gift not only supports planting, but also watering, pruning, and maintenance that helps trees survive and flourish for years to come.
- Tribute gifts support our mission, not a specific tree. Rather than dedicating an individual tree, your gift becomes part of the growing urban forest that benefits Louisville for generations.
- Physical plaques or memorial markers are not provided.
